Flower world

So I am attempting a garden in the backyard... flowers, some herbs and even a hanging basket. I don't really have a green thumb, mainly because I am not very good at the whole watering thing. Oh well... I went to the "Orange Depot" and Flower World and stocked up on some plants. Fingers crossed.

Look who dressed himself

Like most boys, Avery usually is pretty good with me picking out his close and he would rather not deal with it.... unless there is a tag or sock that is itchy. I have been trying to get him to dress himself.. well here is one of the out fits. Hard to tell in the pic, but nothing matches... yellow shirt with blue tan and maroon plaid shorts, an orange fleece, running shoes and red and white socks... yeah, not so matchy match.

Tulip Town

Jodi, Brady and I ventured to the tulip fields today. It was so beautiful, not all the fields were in bloom, but still pretty amazing. Brady was so funny, he loved checking out and smelling all the flowers. He wanted nothing to do with taking pics with mom, but Jodi pulled through with some good ones. It was good to have one-on-one time with the little man... actually not little anymore.

Zoo

Allie and I took the boys to the zoo on Friday. It ended up being the perfect weather and so many animals that are never out made an appearance for us.

Hooray for the sun!

I had all four boys today and thank god for preschool and the sun.They were "painting" the fence with chalk. Avery was very serious about his project and has been working on it for two days.

After a very fun and really, really late night for the big kids... Avery and Brady woke up to the Easter bunny.

A very fun Saturday Night

Trav and Ash came over last Saturday night (and stayed for the Easter bunny in the morning!). Here are a few select pics to outline how the night went. We had a blast eating, drinking and playing cards.

This is a pic of the aftermath of Avery. When we put him to bed, he asked if it would be okay to sleep on the floor. Thinking nothing of it I said sure. The next thing we know... he had relocated his entire room into the upstairs hallway. All of his stuffed animals, pillow, blankets, his cd player with music playing, he even set up his picture frames and piggy bank. I was not fast enough to get a pick of the actual set up, just of him cleaning it up. It was so funny and so Avery.

Ash and I usually kick the boys bums (as avery likes to say) at None... however this night we let them feel good about their card playing abilities and well, the one. Of course in true Trav and Josh fashion they had to rub it in... we still love them.

Easter #1
