My poor little buddy face planted on the sidewalk yesterday. His nose took most of the fit, but is forehead stopped the skid. At least he is tough.

Hard at Work

Avery got this very cool work station from my grandparents for his birthday. Good find Mimi! They were in heaven. I HAD to put it together as soon as we got home according to Avery. Thank God I did because it has been fabulous entertainment since.

Lake Kachess

The boys and I were so lucky to get invited to Auntie Cristi and Uncle Paul's amazing"cabin" on Lake Kachess. The boys had a blast going on adventures, scootering, playing in the water and so much more. I had an amazing time also! Thanks so much for sharing such a fun time with us!

Avery, Avery, Avery

Avery has decided that he is an adult and needs to make all of the decisions involved in his life. There should be no rules, unless he has approved them, no way mom should tell his what to do or when to do it. So, it is really fun at our house right now. Avery has decided that bed time is overrated and he will decided when and where he is sleeping. Josh and I don't agree, obviously... but the other night we found him asleep, with his pillow and blanket, on Brady's floor. At least he was asleep! I thought 4 was supposed to be easier than 3???

It is so funny how much these two are alike... quiet and reserved, yet really stubborn and willing to express their opinion or get something they want. Loving, but not too cuddly. HILARIOUS and very entertaining. And if you look closely, they have the same expression... like, are you really taking this picture of me???

Happy 4th Birthday Avery!

I can't believe he is four! Avery had a blast at his birthday on Saturday. What could be more fun than a bounce house, friends and a race track cake???

4th of July BBQ with Ammie and Pops

We had a BBQ at Ammie and Pops' house after the parade. The boys loved playing squirt guns, running in the sprinkler and harrassing Pops. Couldn't have been a better 4th of July!

We went to Ammie and Pops' church for the anual pancake breakfast and then stayed and watch the parade in Carnation. The boys were more excited about the candy being thrown than anything else in the parade. Oh well, they loved it!

And it keeps getting better

The boys and I have been having such a great summer break... and it keeps getting better. Today we met Marta and Lila at Marta's family cabin. The boys had a blast playing in the water, digging in the sand and entertaining Miss Lila. Thanks for the fun afternoon SP!
