Snow Day

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. Avery could not wait to get out and play in the snow. Brady on the other hand was fine with watching it through the window.

Who knew laundry could be so much fun?

Avery and Brady were all about helping me do laundry the other day... Actually, I put Brady in the basket with a book thinking it would keep him entertained long enough to get a load folded. Who knew Avery would think it was so cool and join Brady in the fun.

They were so funny sitting in the baskets checking out each others book. It became quite the family affair.

Since Brady is not going to be winning any crawling races or pull-up challenges any time soon, he is hoping to win an eating contest . (That is one thing he mastered a long time ago... he loves his "meats"!) This is his game face, it is serious business.
There is nothing like eating big people food.

No Naps

Avery thinks he no longer needs to take a nap, mom and dad think otherwise. Here is what happens when he does not take a nap... he falls asleep in random places and positions.

Play date

Avery, Brady and Jake had so much fun on Wednesday playing together. Avery was really into playing on the ground with the boys, at least for a few minutes. Then he would get bored and leave the two little guys to play.

...only Jake can move pretty fast these days and would chase Avery around.

Poor Brady was left all alone and he was not happy about it.

Caught Red Handed

Avery thought it would be fun to secretly experiment with baby powder in the bathroom... sadly for him, he was caught in the act and did not get to finish the experiment.

What a mess!

When I asked him what had happened in the bathroom, his response was " it was a big, big accident mommy"... Hard to believe when there was a big hand print of baby powder in his hair.

The boys were dressed to impress in their Seahawks gear this Saturday. Too bad their 12th man spirit didn't help. Every time someone would mentioned Marcus Trufant, Avery would start chanting Go Trufant!

This handsome boy is getting so BIG.... ...even he thinks so!

Avery is having so much fun with the easel Nana and Bob gave him. I am keeping my fingers crossed the coloring continues to happen on the paper and not on the walls. You never know with Avery. At least this time it will be Crayola washable markers and not a ballpoint pen... right daddy???

Brady still refuses to do anything, but sit and hang out. Here is a little play by play of "tummy time"...

(I even put the new People magazine on the ground as motivation and the results were still the same... no movement, just crying!)

Avery is giving Brady some pointers just in case a tooth decides to pop up anytime soon.

Toys, Toys, Toys!

The boys have been in heaven the last few days with all of their new toys. Avery has claimed ALL the toys as his.....

Avery got his very own baby jaguar from Uncle T and Auntie Ash. It came in a carrying crate and all! Baby Jaguar has now replaced Hux and Theo and sleeps right next to Avery at night. Avery is trying to be the very best animal rescuer out there.... second to Diego of course!

Avery thinks his new Thomas tent is way cooler on it side so he can use it as a cave. BTW, he has decided that no brothers are allowed... just Payton's.

Avery likes to take all of Brady's toys. He replaces the toy he takes with something crummy like this lovey plastic ornament....
