Toys, Toys, Toys!

The boys have been in heaven the last few days with all of their new toys. Avery has claimed ALL the toys as his.....
Avery got his very own baby jaguar from Uncle T and Auntie Ash. It came in a carrying crate and all! Baby Jaguar has now replaced Hux and Theo and sleeps right next to Avery at night. Avery is trying to be the very best animal rescuer out there.... second to Diego of course!

Avery thinks his new Thomas tent is way cooler on it side so he can use it as a cave. BTW, he has decided that no brothers are allowed... just Payton's.

Avery likes to take all of Brady's toys. He replaces the toy he takes with something crummy like this lovey plastic ornament....

Finally, a cool toy to play with!

Go Cougs!

Christmas Extravaganza

Christmas was amazing this year! We were lucky to celebrate multiple times... at home, Ammie and Pop's house, Nanna and Bob's house, Grand B and Beep's house and at Nonny and Papa's house. The boys were totally spoiled by everyone. Avery thinks Christmas was created for him and that every present was his to open.

Avery and Brady with dad on Christmas Eve before our Christmas light looking adventure.

This year was so much fun because Avery actually understood who Santa was. He was a little sceptical about Santa coming to his house, but was fine once we convinced him Santa did not stay to play.

Brady was more excited about the wrapping paper than the presents themselves. Good thing because Avery wanted every present. His line for the day was "I NEED to open that!".

Gingerbread Party

Mimi's annual Gingerbread Party was a blast. Avery and Brady had so much fun playing with their cousins. Everyone came dressed in festive holiday costumes and the boys wore their cute new Christmas PJ's.

Like always, the Aigner's came dressed in the most creative costume... an advent wreath. We loved the guessed apperance by Bear.

Personally, I love the snow globe, candy cane and ornament! Gentlemen try to take the title.

The highlight of the night for Avery was Wii bowling. He could not get enough of it! Thanks Max for being such an amazing partner!

Santa is so much fun!

Avery loves the "idea" of Santa, but seeing him in person was not something he enjoyed. I have to give credit the guy behind the camera because in person Avery was bunched up in a ball screaming and Brady was looking at him like he was crazy. This pic turned out WAY better than we thought it would. Personally, my favorite part are the red socks and Timberland boots. I swear when Avery is standing his pants are not high-waters.

Decorating the Tree

Our tree decorating adventure started out great!Brady did a great job directing, pointing out holes and eating his caterpillar.
And Avery thought he was an expert at decorating the Christmas tree. But... about three minutes in to decorating, Avery got sick of using the hooks to hang the ornaments on the tree and decided it was easier just to throw them on the branches. Then, after five broken ornaments and a broken snow globe, we decided to wait until after the boys went to bed to add the finishing touches.

Handsome Boy!

I am the cutest baby ever!

Buddies

Brady and Avery were very busy this week. They had play dates with their buddies Jake, Tyler and Braden.

My buddy Jake.

Since Avery is so much older and wiser he thinks he gets to boss everyone around.

"Thanks Tyler for sharing this blanket with me. I hope you are enjoying that flavorful rubber ducky."

Christmas Picture

I have been trying for weeks to get a cute picture of the boys for Christmas. Here is a short preview of my attempts... Avery was full of advise, yet he seemed to be the one having the issues.

"Brady you should really taste this sticker, it is yummy."

"Remember to smile Brady."

"Now mom wants us to look really cute! I think this might be a good pose."

"Brady you are doing such a great job."

Finally, a picture of them both smiling... it only took 100 attempts!

The boys got to spend all day Monday and Tuesday at home with Dad... they had sooo much fun!
Avery played demolition derby... At least he wore his helmet for safety.

Hey Guys, check out my cool fort.
Oh my gosh Avery, what are we doing in this thing. ~Brady
