Mud, Mud and More Mud

This is the boys favorite place to play in the backyard.... They love to mix the water and dirt together and then throw, dig, step in, bathe in, and god knows that else in the mud. I have some "kate" (from Jon and Kate plus eight) tendencies when it comes to getting all dirty, but there is no way I am as crazy as she is, so I am getting over it fast. Lucky, Jodi came over and played with the boys while I was at school and she LOVES getting them all muddied up!

The boys love to play with play dough! Brady is finally past the "sampling" stage and not longer tries to eat it. I love it because they are entertained for a while...

Day at the Farm

This summer we have been so lucky to meet Amiee once a week at Jubliee farm. She is part of their veggie pick/pick up, so we meet her every Tuesday to pick, eat and play at the farm. I finally remembered my camera so there are a lot of pics!

I got smart this time and packed a picnic dinner. The boys had so much fun eating dinner, the beans and raspberries we pick, and LOVED running around in circles.

Race Track

Seriously??? This is what Avery decided to build today.... A Race track, of course! He manange to stay entertained and injury free for a good amount of time...

Water Baby

While Avery was way, Brady and I went swimming at Jodi's pool. Brady LOVED the water. He was kicking, and putting his head in, trying to drink the water and probably would have walked right into the pool, had I not been hovering next to him.

Avery left this morning with Josh for a day date with Amiee. Brady and I have a day full of fun planned. The morning started off with some relaxing book reading and news watching. Brady even got to eat a frozen waffle on the couch..... who knew such simple things could make a 1 1/2 year old happy. Brady is loving the one on one attention. He is a funny little man.
