Baby Boughton

Miss Kinzie Reese Boughton was born on December 21st! We are so excited she decided to join the world early. I cannot get enough of the little lady. She is so lucky to have Trav and Ash as a daddy and mommy.
P. S. So jealous of the hair!!!

I thought we were past this...

Avery has been at it again... I discovered this when I went up to bed the other night. Josh and I were downstairs watching tv and we both thought the boys were fast asleep. Little did we know Avery had been at it again.

Apparently their new favorite game is to make spit-wads (not actually spitting, throwing instead) and writing around the house. Avery must have had short term memory loss because this has happened before and the consequences are not fun. My favorite part of this all is writing... ironic, isn't it. (Oh, and he is now into Justin Bieber, although he has never heard his music. On Christmas Eve, he wanted me to do his hair like Justin Bieber. Ugh!)

Of course, being Avery's mom, I know that he does not just leave his mark in one spot... so I took a little tour of the upstairs and found this on the bathtub.

When Avery woke up we had a little chat. He told me that he was not happy with dad for coming up and telling them to go to bed and that is why he wrote on the bathtub. He then proceeded to tell me not to worry, he had used a red marker that was washable...... thanks for the tip!

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year. The boys are at the perfect age. They could not wait for Santa to come and had a million questions about how Santa does what he does. Christmas morning was perfect. They came running down the stairs, went straight to check out if Santa had snacked on the cookies and reindeer food and then discovered their stockings. They actually took time to go through all the stockings and looked at each treasure that was inside. Then they discovered Santa had left the real presents and were elated again. I loved it.

Getting ready to see if Santa had come.

Stockings.

Avery getting so excited about the "real" baseball bat and ball Santa had left.

Brady's talking/roaring dino.... as close to the real thing as Santa could get. :-)
We then got to do Christmas all over again at Nana and Bob Bob's and again at Ammie and Pop's house. Let's just say the kids are so loved and SPOILT!

MIss Ellie and her Panda

Ellie's nickname has been Panda since she was born. More recently she has been calling herself Ellesworth D. Panda. So, naturally, she had a panda themed Christmas. Santa brough her a panda that is double her size.

Family Pics

Back in November, we had family pictures take by Jessica Larson (you should check out Jessica Larson Photography on facebook... she is amazing). I have been dying to post some pics, but have been waiting until after Christmas, so we did not ruin some presents. Here are just a few of the ones she took. Love them and cannot wait for her to take more!

This Brady look kills me!

Molbacks

Brady, Ellie and I met my mom's side of the fam for lunch at Molbacks. Brady was loving all the animals they had out on display. He had to pose with a few.

Gingerbread House

On Thursday, we all got to go and decorate gingerbread houses. Avery loves showing off his school to us. Bady was in heaven and pretty much thinks he should be in Miss Luchini's kindergarten class too. And, of course, Ellie was a happy, easy going baby who just hung out.

Brady's Preschool Performance

Brady had his little Christmas performance at school on Thursday. He did such a good job singing... I cannot believe how old he is getting.
