Coming Home

After three days in the hospital, everyone was ready to head home... except me, the hospital is like a hotel to a mom with kids. Someone waits on you, they feed you (gross food), you have a bed that moves with a touch of a button... and it is quiet. No, we are all happy to be home and adjusting to life as 5. It is amazing having Josh home too!

Miss Ellie Grace Sattler

Ellie Grace Sattler arrived August 25th at 7:27am. She was HUGE, weighing in at 8 lbs 12 oz and 20.5 inches long. Not sure where she fit. :-) We are so excited to have her home and the boys are IN LOVE with her... so are Josh and I!

So, my photographer struggled with the iphone pic today, but at least I got Avery to attempt a pic before this baby comes.... I am really ready to meet her and have a feeling we will be waiting until the 25th!

Allie and Bryce got Hitched

Allie and Bryce got married a few weekends ago. I have been waiting on some pics of my handsome boys in the tuxes, but here is a sneak peak for now... me as a grape and Avery as a dancing fool.

They boys and I met some college friends for lunch the other day. We had some time to kill, so we made an impromptu stop at the locks. They were mesmerized by the boats going through. We definitely need to go back when we have more time to just watch.... we didn't even get to the fish!

Pool time

The boys and I were lucky enough get invited to swim at Casie, Logan and Claire's house with a bunch of friends. The boys LOVED it and asked first thing this morning if they could go back today. I forgot their water wings, but I am super impressed with how daring Avery was! :-)
