Ms. Ellie

Ellie is all over the place these days. She is a walking machine and hates to be put in a stroller or shopping cart. Gone are the days of wondering Target with a content baby sitting in the stroller.

She is in LOVE with her Daddy and wants to play with him all the time. She is making her funny cheese face in this pic. It is hilarious and I need to get a better shot of it. She squints her eyes and smiles funny.

Helping dad make pancakes. Lately she is insisting on being held, sitting on top of you or climbing on you.

Hard at work

So the boys are obsessed with their DS and would play it all day, every day, if they could. I have used this to my advantage and the boys have to "earn" their DS and electronics time. Today they decided raking the leaves would be a good way to earn time. And, I agreed!

Brady's Field Trip to the Library

Brady's preschool went on a field trip to the Library. My wonderful friend Beth took the kids because I was teaching. She happened to find my camera in the diaper bag and snapped a couple of pics. Fun suprise when downloading pictures today!

A Big Day at the Sattler House

Avery lost his tooth last week. He was over the moon. He has been dying to find a loose tooth somewhere in his mouth... by now most first graders have lost at least one tooth. Josh and I were a little concerned about the "pulling" it out part. If you know Avery, he does not always do well with injuries and blood. (He might be a little like his dad in this area.) I will have to say, he is getting much better. So, last Thursday night, I took a look at the tooth. I was so loose that if I did not pull it out he would have swallowed it. So, I bit the bullet I gave it a little wiggle and out it came. No blood and NO TEARS! Avery has been elated ever since.

Writing a letter to the tooth "fare". I love that he wrote down exact time he lost it. And, still retells the story with exact details!

Ellie's Hair

Ellie is slowly growing hair. I cannot wait to see what happens when is gets just a little bit longer. After she gets out of the bath, her head is full of curls.

Trick or treating in town

Every year we go trick or treating in Duvall. The boys were so much braver and independent this year. They loved going in and out of the shops, loading up on candy. I think the highlight for Avery was running into kindergarten friends from last year. You know, the mayor need to stay in touch with his people. :)
