San Fransisco

Josh and I got to spend an amazing amount of time in the bay area for mid-winter break. We spent the first half of the trip on the coast and the second half down town. We are so lucky to have such amazing family who graciously watch the boys for us. It was so relaxing to just have nothing to do. We shopped, played tourist, ate amazing food and just enjoyed the time. Here are so pics from playing tourist.

Josh was not a fan of walking the bridge. He would not let me stand next to him, he walked straight down the middle with his head down and would not stop. I am pretty sure if the fog had cleared and he could see the water, we would have had to call for a rescue mission to get him off.

We decided to play tourist and take a double decor bus around. It was so much fun!

Half Moon Bay

Josh and I spent the first part of our trip in Half Moon Bay. The hotel was amazing, so were the views and our room! So relaxing...

The view from our room.

The obnoxious rental car we had to drive. I had heart palpitations every time we got in it.

Stanford

While we were in the bay area Josh and I thought, why not go and see the cougs play basketball??? While the game was terrible, we had fun walking around campus for a few hours and checking things out.

We could not get over the number of bikes. I swear it was required as a part of admission. They had bike round-a-bouts and pretty dangerous if you were a pedestrian.

Sleep over

The boys got to have an extra long sleep over at Ammie and Pops' house, while Josh and I ventured to San Fran. We are so lucky to have family so close! The boys had a blast and were very busy.

They got to go bowling, which was a HUGE hit.

Brady learned how to use his bike that Santa brought. Thanks Pops for the help!

Re-creating the nascar wreck for last weeks race.

Zoo

Last week, we met Marta and Miss Lila at the zoo for a date. The boys had a blast and wore themselves out. It was so good the see the ladies and it had been way to long.

Outside

Dear Sun,
Please do not leave. We love having you around and it sure helps my sanity.

This is how the boys talk to their friend Jake next door. By the end of this summer, a few more of those fence boards are going to be gone and they will be running back and forth bewtween houses.

Rock Band

Rock Band is the new favorite thing to do in my house... My boys and I mean all the boys in my house, LOVE IT! Josh found Lego Rock Band, which has the number one hit at the Sattler house (according to Avery and Brady) Life is a Highway. You can imagine the excitement when the song came on. While getting reading to rock out, Brady turned to Avery and said "lets blow the roof off this place!" No clue where they get it.
