Ball Boy

Avery got to be the ball boy for the Overlake School's varsity basketball team last Friday. Josh's friend Justin is the head coach and requested Avery's services since Josh helps out with stats. Here is Avery with his "equipment" on during the pre-game meeting in the locker room.
Avery got to dribble the ball during pre-game warm-ups, and stood in line with the team on the court during player introductions. Avery said his job was "boring" and that he just gave players towels and water bottles during the game, but said he definitley wants to go back so he can dribble on the court.

Fat Boy

Josh and the boys went to "orange" depot to pick out our Christmas tree this year... classy, I know. They returned with a tree fittingly named.... Fat Boy. This tree was huge! They boys were so excited, but all I could think, was how the heck is this thing going to fit in our house. After a call to my mom to see if she would be willing to adopt the tree, a trip to True Value for pruning sheers, a "tree hair" cut of about a foot and a half and many branches, Fat Boy made it inside. I do have to say, he is a very beautiful tree!
