Hoppy Easter Project

I got motivated today and felt very crafty. So, the boys and I made fun Easter presents for the fam. I was brave and let the boys paint, in the house, on my table with acrylic paint... for those who know me this is a big step... not the biggest fan of messy hands and usually stick with watercolor.

This makes me laugh. Brady had to paint all by himself. He painted his hand and then got made it was dirty.

He can be so funny

Avery, Brady and I had a show night last night. We all put on pj's, snuggled into my bed and watched some shows before bed. The kids were exhausted from a super fun day with Beth, so I thought this would be a fantastic way to prevent the inevitable Avery melt down. While we were snuggled in bed, Brady turns to me and gives me a kiss, pushes my head on the pillow, makes me close my eyes (by poking me in the eye) and whispers shhhh, nigha-night. And then checked every two seconds to make sure I was sleeping. If my eyes were open he would repeat the entire thing over. I thought it was sweat and it made me laugh.

The big switch

So we made the big switch last night. We picked up the bunk beds on Saturday. (and yes, they are as amazing as I thought they would be!) We put the loft portion up in Avery's room to get him used to sleeping up high and moved the red bed into Brady's room. Brady loved the freedom and stayed up way to late playing with all of his toys.

And yes Allie, he had cookie, ernie and elmo.

I want one at home!

I love the play places at the mall.. aside from the germs, crazy children and kids that are way to big to be playing on them, they are easy, the boys love it and it wears them out!
