Adventures at Lake Kachess

We were lucky enough to get to spend a few days at Kachess for the second time this summer. It is such an amazing house! The boys are in heaven there and I have to say, Ellie and I sure enjoy it as well! This time, we were able to spend the day with Uncle Paul, Auntie Cristi and Max. The boat was in the water, so we for a ride... which became a pirate hunt. We stopped at a few little islands, where the boys found a bow and arrow and sling shot made from wood. Auntie Cristi, Uncle Paul and Max totally played up the pirate thing and the boys were convinced we had found the pirates camp site. So fun!

Zoo

We met MArta amd Lila at the zoo. The boys and Ellie had a blast. It had been a really long time since we visited as a family.. I am pretty sure it was Ellie's first trip.

Happy 6th Birthday

It is hard to believe that this dude turned 6 on Saturday. Where those six years have gone, we have no idea. This has been a big year for Mr. Avery, his first year of real school: Kindergarten at Cherry Valley, first school bus ride, learning to read, first airplane ride, first soccer team, first baseball team, a new sister, lots of new friends, birthday parties and play dates without mom, and so much more. Avery you are turning into such an amazing boy. You have a crazy mind that remembers everything. You constantly want to know more about this and that. You are a first born for sure.... the mayor and a leader, a 25 year old in a now 6 year olds body. I cannot wait to see what you become when you are older. You have a kind heart and love your sister so much. You are always happy to play with her and make her giggle. You are really into star wars, mario cart, nascar, playing sports, computer, video games and now your new DSi. You love math. You are just figuring out that reading is pretty cool. You would run around and play outside on your bike from when the sun comes up to when the sun goes down. We are so lucky to have spent the last 6 year with you. We cannot wait to see how you grow and change. We love you lots and lots!
Things you have told me:
Best part of being 5: Our trip to Myrtle Beach
Best Part of Kindergarten: Field Day
Career Goals: Army Guy
Favorite Food: Ice Cream
Favorite thing to Play: DSi and Soccer
