I cannot believe this guy is going to be a second grader. Where has the time gone? Avery had a great year and the most amazing teacher!

Pippi Longstocking
Avery's class read the book Pippi Longstocking and then wrote their own play based of the the characters. (Just one of the amazing perks of Rosa Parks is the drama infusion in the classroom!) The play was cute and Avery made is acting debut as a penguin. He even had a line! It was super cute and I love that it pushed this little dude outside his box a bit! 
Family Reunion in Colville
Last month we headed to Eastern Washington for a family reunion with Pop's side of the family. It was fun to see where Great Grandma Sattler lives and meet some family for the first time.
