First Day of School

It is hard to believe Brady started Kindergarten this year and Avery started 2nd grade! Brady was really excited to go to Kindergarten, but the first day he was so, so quiet and would not talk about it at all. He has warmed up to the idea of Kindergarten and loves it. Here is the big dude on his first day!

Avery was, of course, an old pro at the first day of school and could not wait to see all of his friends. All he could talk about when he got home the first day was how many girls chased him on the playground. Glad to see the Mayor was back in action!

 

 

 

Since it was my first day of school too, Josh did such a good job as "stay at home mom" for the morning. He got the kids ready, fed, took the first day morning pics, dropped Ellie off at Courtney's and got the boys in their lines. Got to give him props for this... .the boys even had their teeth brushed (thank god!)

 

(A side note, the big puff around my hair is not crazy fly aways, it is a little boys in Avery'c classes crazy hair!)

Birthday Girl

We had a little Elmo themed celebration for Ellie's 2nd bday. Nothing fancy, nana and bob bob, Amie and Pops, a little auntie allie and D, and you have a party. She loved every second of it.  

 

 

 

 

 

Two, Two, Two

This wild, crazy monkey just turned two at the end of August and I cannot figure out where the time has gone. Ellie Grace Sattler you are such a funny little person. You are currently obsessed with Elmo and Dora. Little Diva, you are totally in charge, run the house and have your daddy in your back pocket. You are strong willed, have a temper, and are so, so stubborn... yet you are so sensitive, and are such a cuddle bug. You love to be a big helper. Think you are as old as your brothers and should get to do everything the big kids do. You are outgoing when you want to be, or choose to be a selective mute when you want to be shy. You are a dare devil and scare me to death something. You are getting so old and independent. We love you and can't get enough of you miss Ellie Grace, Panda Bear!

Remlinger Farm

We headed to Remlinger Farms to celebrate the end of summer. It was one of the best days we had all summer. The kids loved all the rides, I tried my best to not say no and let them lead the day. So, so much fun. Avery was went outside his box and tried every ride, Brady warmed up throughout the day to the rides and Ellie was a little dare devil!

Seahawks Training Camp

The boys went on their anual adventure to Seahawks training camp. Not sure what they liked best, the bus ride, snacks or watching the players.  

 

 

Camping Lake Alta 2012

We. Loved. It. Seriously! I got over my issues with dirt, public bathrooms, lack of showering and loved every second of it. We will totally do it again. Same place, same people, more often!
